This incident resulted in the temporary closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

Two more people are now in custody in connection with a theft at Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, according to police.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, two women were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the injured in the event. Five people went to hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault close to the location. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Police were alerted at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people hurt by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not considered terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
